On Saturday, Erykah Badu released her ‘Window Seat’ video but the main point was that she was so in hurry that she even had not enough time to wear video costume on time so, she hit upon an idea. She thought, how it would be if she changes her clothes during shooting of video. Though, entertainer acted upon the plan and wore off all clothes but unfortunately her secretary forgot to bring her costume with him. The results of his forgetfulness proved drastic for Erykah as she had to shoot without clothes and crazy people started protesting that she appeared naked in the video. Huh! Funny people.
After the shoot, they thought about to face the media. Then, intelligent secretary whispered something in her ears. People sitting around by naked Erykah were unable to understand what secretary had told her. Later, the secret revealed during an interview when Erykah told that the video was about liberating and she wanted to promote people to be free and liberal.
Badu says she was verbally harassed on the day of shooting and the video was shot without crew in one take on March 17. The video was shot for her next album, “New Amerykah Part Two; Returns of the Ankh”. On her twitter page, Badu confessed that the people walking alongside her were taunting her and were forcing her to put her clothes on. They were shouting that the place where she was strolling naked was a public place and she ought to be ashamed on her act.
Badu wrote that she was thinking about her nudity and the children who were around there. She said that she was praying they would not be traumatized.
